Full of immune supporting nutrients such as Vitamin C, zinc and antibacterial coconut oil, the immunity smoothie is designed for days when you aren’t feeling your optimum. It’s easy to get run down in cold and flu season, especially if you work in an office, school or are just generally around people. This smoothie may not be a magic cure but it’s a nourishing way to start your day.

Method

Measure the ingredients and blend until smooth using a stick blender, juicer or food processor.

Raw Organic Apple Cyder Vinegar - for it’s antimicrobial and antiseptic properties
Pumpkin seeds - a source of zinc which is essential for a healthy immune system
Raw coconut oil - as well as being a healthy fat, coconut oil has a mild antibacterial effect
