Aspall Polo on the Beach: The Highlights

Aspall were very proud to be this year’s headline sponsors for Polo on the Beach at Watergate Bay. Many who joined us in May for the tenth anniversary of the UK’s original beach polo event have said this year’s was the very best yet!

For three fun-filled days, the beach at Watergate Bay in Cornwall was the arena for world-class polo matches, as well as a mouth-watering choice of street food stalls, the Aspall beach bar and a Champagne garden. Along with polo matches starring some of the country’s best polo players, the packed programme of polo demonstrations, horse jousting, Segway polo, dance performances and Sunday’s family dog show entertained over 10,000 visitors of all ages.

With Aspall at the helm, the fun was also infused with a distinctive fruity flavour. Apple bobbing and a giant apple orchard colouring mural enthralled our younger guests while adults savoured an exclusive preview of Aspall 1728 and the chance to indulge in their favourite Aspall Cyders.

Evening events extended the beach festival vibe well into the night. On Friday, visitors enjoyed live music, fireworks and an authentic Argentinian asado barbecue, while the Polo on the Beach party – headlined by William The Conqueror, Flats & Sharps, and Molotov Jukebox – capped a fantastic Saturday.
