This year, we're delighted to be supporting the RNLI Fish Supper, an annual fundraising event to support the charity’s lifesaving work at sea.

Households across the UK will be hosting fish-based meals with their friends and family and collecting donations. As producers of two of the finest accompaniments to British fish and Chips – Aspall Golden Malt Vinegar and Aspall Draught Cyder – we feel well placed to encourage people to get involved and support this initiative!

Of course a Fish Supper can be as simple or as fancy as you like. If you are looking for inspiration, there are plenty of recipe suggestions on the RNLI Fish Supper website, including our delicious recipe for cod with blackened butter, which uses Aspall Organic Cyder Vinegar.

Located near the east coast of England, we are well aware of the contribution and sacrifices RNLI volunteer crew members make. Last year alone, RNLI volunteer crew members missed 7,000 evening meals with loved ones to brave cold, unpredictable and often dangerous conditions at sea and on the Thames. With the Chevallier family’s seafaring background, we recognise and commend these volunteers’ courage and dedication.
