Aspall Cyder - Cider and Vinegar

Homemade Mulled Cyder

A comforting treat for the cold winter months. Perfect for keeping warm on bonfire night or getting the festive party started. This recipe can easily be scaled up or down depending on the numbers you wish to serve.
  1. Pour the bottles of Aspall Organic Suffolk Cyder into a large pan and stir in 4-6 tbsp soft brown sugar, together with the spices, lemon zest and juice and sliced oranges.
  2. Heat gently and simmer, without boiling, for 10 minutes. 
  3. Add thin slices of  apple, unpeeled but cored, and heat gently for a few minutes until the apple is tender.
  4. Ladle into mugs or heatproof glasses and drink warm.
