If your parents were anything like ours, the phrase “eat your greens” was liberally used as torment through childhood. Now that we are a little bit older and wiser, we realise that maybe those greens are actually good for us, however, that doesn’t make them any easier to eat. That’s where this supergreen smoothie comes to the rescue. It’s full of the exact stuff that’s good for you but disguised in a delicious smoothie that’s nice and easy to drink. In fact, it’s far superior to those limp over-boiled vegetables that used to make our childhood plates

Measure the ingredients and blend until smooth using a stick blender, juicer or food processor.

Why is this good for me?

Spinach & kale - both spinach and kale are jam packed with nutrients such as Vitamin K, A, E, folate, magnesium and iron to name a few.

- a good source of Vitamins C & K plus it makes this smoothie taste great
Raw organic apple cyder vinegar - supports detoxification, a natural process of getting rid of toxic substances from the body
Coconut water - a great source of potassium
Spirulina - a type of algae, this superfood has been credited with speeding up detoxification and boosting energy
